How to play Connect Four
Connect Four adds gravity to a line-making game. Choose a column and your disc falls to its lowest available square. You play blue and move first against a gold computer opponent. A full board without a winning line is a draw.
- You are blue; the computer is gold. You move first.
- Choose a column. Your disc falls to its lowest empty space; full columns cannot be used.
- Four connected discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally win. A full board without a winner is a draw.
Tips for your next round
- Consider the square your disc makes available above it. A harmless-looking drop can give the opponent a winning move.
- The middle columns participate in more potential lines. Build threats there while checking both diagonal directions.
