Solitaire is the classic single-player card game, also known as Klondike. Move cards between seven columns, build the four foundation piles from ace to king, and clear the whole table. This version runs right in your browser, with no download and no sign-up. Choose draw 1 for an easier game or draw 3 for a real challenge, undo any move, and come back to the same deal after a reload. A new Daily deal is the same for everyone.
How to play solitaire
- 1Build the four foundation piles by suit from ace up to king.
- 2In the seven columns, place cards in descending order and alternate red and black.
- 3Only a king, or a run starting with a king, can be moved to an empty column.
- 4Click the stock to turn over cards. When it is empty, click it again to go through the waste pile once more, as often as you like.
- 5Tap or double-click a card to move it automatically, foundation first, or drag it where you want it.
- 6Once every card is face up, auto-complete finishes the game for you.
Solitaire FAQ
What is the difference between draw 1 and draw 3?
In draw 1 you turn over a single card from the stock at a time, which makes winning easier. In draw 3 you turn three cards and can only play the top one, so planning matters more.
Can I go through the stock more than once?
Yes. You can redeal as many times as you want.
What is the Daily deal?
A deal that is the same for everyone on a given day (UTC). Play it to compare with friends, or start a new game for a random deal.
Can I undo a move?
Yes, the Undo button takes back your last moves one at a time.
Is my game saved?
Your game in progress and your statistics are saved in your browser, so a reload continues where you left off. Playing is free and needs no account.
