How to play Hangman — Hidden Word
Hidden Word uses the letter-guessing rules of Hangman with an English nature word and a category clue. A correct letter reveals its positions in the word. A wrong letter uses one of your six chances, so each new guess should narrow the possibilities.
- Choose a letter or type it with the game focused.
- Correct letters appear in the word; each incorrect letter uses one chance.
- Reveal every letter before making six incorrect guesses. A category clue is provided.
Tips for your next round
- Use the category clue and the word’s length together instead of guessing letters without a possible word in mind.
- After a few letters appear, compare the patterns of plausible words. A letter that separates those candidates can be more useful than a common letter.
Choose a letter on screen or type while the game is focused. Reveal the whole word before the sixth incorrect guess.
